The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols
The traditional celebration of Christmas with the familiar Bible readings, carols old and new.
The Swarbrick Singers were formed thirty-three years ago by their director, Ian Clarke. Their name coming from the organ maker Thomas Swarbrick whose organ case still stands in All Saints' Church. As one of the finest small choirs in the country, their programmes show a wide range of music from Elizabethan and Italian madrigals to Brahms and Bruckner.
