The Swarbrick Singers were formed thirty-two years ago by their director, Ian Clarke, whilst he was an Organist of All Saints' Church in Northampton.

Their name comes from Thomas Swarbrick, an 18th century organ builder whose organ case still stands in All Saints'.

The group has built up an enviable reputation as one of the finest small choirs in this part of the country. Their programmes show their expertise and musicality in a wide range of music, from many centuries: Renaissance masses and motets, Elizabethan and Italian madrigals, early to late Baroque music, including the Bach motets, works by Mozart and Haydn, Brahms and Buckner, Britten and Tippett, and many more composers. They sing music both sacred and secular from all periods, and are much in demand for weddings, Christmas concerts, and fund-raising events, in addition to their regular concert programme.

If you are interested in the Swarbrick Singers in any way: supporting us on concerts; becoming a Friend (see below); booking the choir for and function; or simply would like to be put on the mailing list, then do email or telephone the Singers for further information.

We meet on Wednesday evenings near Northampton, and new members always welcome.

Tickets are available for all the subscription concerts from the address below. Group bookings, Individual Season Tickets and Family Tickets by arrangement.

For £60, why not become a Friend of the Swarbrick Singers, which entitles you to two tickets to our main subscription concerts? This not only represents good value: your contribution will also be a great support in our continuing aim of bringing wonderful and rarely performed music to a wider audience, and you will be acknowledged on all our programmes.
